Organizing in Common: Migrant and Housing Justice

This round table discussion will bring together voices from various movements struggling for migrant rights and housing justice. Our panelists will share their experiences and explore key questions such as: How does their work translate across borders, and what successful collaborations have they fostered with different local, regional, and national actors? What have been their successes and learning moments in their work for social justice? How do they connect their struggles with others focused on different social questions and causes, and what challenges or consequences have emerged from these cross-movement collaborations? How can we foster strong, strategic, and sometimes unlikely alliances that bridge social movements and struggles in intersectional and translocal ways, especially around migrant and housing justice? We look forward to learning together and envisioning more connected, transformative, and powerful movements organizing in common for justice.
